  1. What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?

I’m a Pickleball Pro at Elite-Brookfield.

  1. How long have you been working in the health/fitness/tennis industry and how long have you worked at Elite?

I started working in the fitness industry in 2011, and joined Elite in June 2023.

  1. What made you want to start working in this industry and/or for Elite?

I wanted to work in this industry because I love helping people reach their fitness and pickleball goals.

  1. What is your favorite part about your job?

My favorite part about my job is teaching clients how to evolve their game.

  1. What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club that are health/fitness/tennis related?

Aside from pickleball, I enjoy hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and kayaking with my wife and our dog.

  1. What has been your biggest personal struggle with health/fitness/tennis?

My biggest personal struggle with sports has been overcoming injuries. Striving to always come back better than before.

  1. What has been your biggest personal accomplishment with health/fitness/tennis?

My biggest personal sports accomplishment was being part of Lakeland College’s national championship volleyball team in 2008.

  1. What advice do you give people who are coming to the club for the first time?

My advice to people coming to the club for the first timeis to set short-term and long-term fitness and sports goals.

  1. What advice do you give people who are struggling to make health/fitness/tennis a priority or are getting bored/burned out?

My advice to people who are struggling to make health and sports a priority is to remind them why they signed up in the first place. I’d guide them to use the resources of racquet sports pros and personal trainers to accomplish the changes they seek.

  1. What personal advice do you give someone who is looking to get to a healthier point in their life in general?
My advice to someone who is looking to get a healthier point in their life in general is to explore a variety of classes  at the club and meet people that have similar goals and interests.
