Each class offers a variety from class to class and between instructors. Elite Sports Clubs’ classes provide a sociable, yet motivating atmosphere. Through different categories of Group Exercise classes—cardio, strength, mind/body, fusion, and water—members can get a full-body workout throughout the week without ever going into the fitness center. Mind Body Classes

Pilates Mat I

This class teaches awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, utilizing the deep torso muscles of the core. Controlled movements using the 18 beginner-level mat exercises help to build flexibility, core strength, and coordination. Static stretching components are incorporated throughout the class.

Pilates Mat II

This class will include new exercises that are part of the full Pilates repertoire. More advanced options are introduced, that will build on the exercises learned in the Pilates Mat I class. Magic circles, resistance bands, foam rollers, and pilates balls may be included.

Beginner Yoga

This class features deeply relaxing yoga with the assistance of props to support the body in releasing stress, tension, and support of the body. Anyone can benefit from this practice, which helps to increase range of motion and develop inner awareness. Emphasis is on deep relaxation throughout the class, great for anyone who wants to slow down.

Gentle Yoga

This class features deeply relaxing yoga with the assistance of props to support the body in releasing stress, tension, and support of the body. Hatha Yoga

This class unites the body, mind, and breath while strengthening muscles, increasing flexibility and stamina, developing proper body alignment, improving concentration and increasing energy.

Hot Yoga

This class features an invigorating and challenging series of flowing postures done in a heated room usually maintained at a temperature of 85-100 degrees. A vigorous yoga session at this temperature makes the body very warm and therefore more flexible while also deeply detoxifying the body.

Power Yoga

This class is a progressive yoga taught with an athletic approach holding poses longer and adding inversions that include balance and core strengthening exercises. Power yoga will strengthen and define each and every muscle in your body using dynamic flowing asanas.

Restorative Yoga

This class features deeply relaxing yoga with the assistance of props to support the body in a sequence that will encourage relaxation. We will practice being in a pose rather than doing multiple poses. The majority of Restorative yoga poses are practiced lying on the floor. Anyone can benefit from this practice, which helps to increase range of motion and develop inner awareness. Gentle attention is given to people with injuries with emphasis on deep relaxation throughout the class.

Vinyasa Yoga

This class features an energetic, creative, full-spectrum vinyasa flow designed to build strength, stamina, and balance. A dynamic flow of postures synchronized with movement and breath creates a more balancing effect.

Yoga Level 1-2

Building on the foundation of beginner classes, Yoga Level 1-2 includes more postures for the advanced beginner and preparations for a higher level practice. Level 1-2 classes typically emphasize building strength and endurance in postures, working with more challenging variations on basic postures. This class is designed for continuing students who have taken Beginners or Hatha Yoga and who are familiar with basic standing and seated poses. Level 1-2 is not intended for students who are new to yoga.

Balance & Restore

Balance and stability are developed with standing postures, isometric holds, and controlled range of motion patterns, targeting areas of the body that are prone to weakness and injury (e.g. shoulders, lower back, and knees). Gentle stretching and restorative yoga are part of every series to encourage mobility and relaxation.

Transform

This class blends yoga, pilates, and tai-chi resulting in a unique, dynamic release. Experience dynamic flowing sequences, balance, mindfulness, strength, and plyos, as you challenge your ability to work while remaining calm.

Barre Basics

This class will introduce you to the principles of barre training, integrating the fat-burning format of intervals, shaping technique of isometrics, and elongating principles of dance conditioning.

Fit Kids Yoga

Kids will learn different poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises that cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills and improve concentration. Ages 3-5

Les Mills CXWORX

Build core strength, plus improve functional fitness of the abdominals, mid-section, and glutes. You will target everything from the thighs to the shoulders. Instructors will guide you through the correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers.

Core Strong

This class is an all-inclusive, dynamic, and multifaceted class designed to improve your overall fitness level; including strength and flexibility. More than another ‘ab workout,’ Core-Strong is about training everything from your hips to your shoulders.

BTS

Balance. Tone. Strengthen. Increase your strength, balance, and confidence using light weights, isometric exercises, and a variety of balance equipment to improve your performance in both sports and everyday life.

New Energy Strength

This class is geared toward older-adult participants and focuses on balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, and strength training. Movements are done slow and controlled, with balls, bands, weights, and Bosu balls. Activities of daily living are emphasized.

Kettlebell Circuit

In this class, kettlebells are used in explosive swinging movements utilizing the whole body along with momentum and used in more traditional press and squat exercises. This innovative training method incorporates strength, cardio, and core. Get your body moving in all directions for a more effective total body workout.

Pure Strength

A full-body workout that targets all of the major muscle groups. You’ll integrate strength, plyometric, and power exercises to produce stronger bones and muscles and increase your metabolism to help maintain healthy body weight. Be ready to get STRONG!!

Cardio Classes

Spin

One of the best cardio workouts ever! This is a stationary bike class for all levels of fitness. Climb, lift, sprint, and surge on the bike to motivating instruction and music.

Step

Use simple movements on, over, and around the step. The cardio blocks will push fat-burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that will shape and tone your butt and thighs.

Les Mills BODYSTEP

Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP™ – a full-body cardio workout to tone your butt and thighs. HIIT

High-Intensity Interval Training is a training style in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

HI-LO Cardio

A sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval class combines athletic aerobic movements, plyometrics, and strength and stabilization exercises.

Boxing

A calorie-fighting aerobic workout designed specifically to get your heart rate jumping by releasing your inner boxer. This class uses awesome music, the traditional tools of boxing, ie. the heavy bags and glove work, and energetic instruction to get you the maximum benefit out of your workout. Kickboxing

Dance Cardio

Join in on this fun, high-energy dance party! A cardio-based class featuring top hit pop/hip-hop songs. This full-body dance fitness workout is easy to follow and will make you sweat!

POUND

Channel your inner rock star with this full-body cardio jam session of a workout inspired by drumming. Using Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks, torch calories, and tone while rocking out to your favorite music!

Zumba

This class is a fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

Les Mills BODYCOMBAT

A high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness. No experience is needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast, and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

Les Mills BODYATTACK

A high-energy fitness class with moves that cater to total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

Fusion Classes

Spin Fusion

High energy cycling followed by off-bike strength and/or core work.

Trek Fusion

This class is held out in the fitness area working on building foundational strength. You will complement these strength circuits by working out on the treadmills and/or ellipticals to build your cardiovascular conditioning. The instructor may take you up hills, on runs, sprints, strength phases, or even endurance challenges.

BarreBox

Combines low-impact kickboxing movements with toning and stretching exercises from barre class for an interval workout that burns calories and shapes your entire body!

Pilates Fusion

This class uses the full Pilates repertoire, as practiced in the Pilates Mat II class. Traditional sculpting and core exercises are added to make this a great full-body workout.

Yoga Fusion

Combines yoga and light weight training to tone the full body. It is designed to help people move deeper into yoga poses as well as improve overall fitness and strength.

Burn & Firm

This class is a total package, alternating intervals of mixed-impact cardio and light weight toning exercises. May include basic step patterns. This combo will increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. All levels are welcome.

Sweat. Strength. Stability. Three formats packed into one intense class! This moderate to high-intensity class is a fusion of cardio, strength, and core to develop your strength, and improve your cardiovascular function, all in one class.

Circuit Training

This class offers a constantly changing mix of cardio, strength, and flexibility training ideal for the actively aging population. A variety of equipment is used during the strength component including machines, free weights, and balls. The cardio is performed on treadmills, bikes, or ellipticals. Social interaction is a strong component of this class.

STRONG by Zumba

Combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

Boot Camp

A total body workout that is both cardiovascular and strengthening. The class uses plyometrics, calisthenics, and agility training to give you the results that you’ve been looking for.

Les Mills TONE

The optimal mix of strength, cardio, and core training guarantees a complete workout in 45 minutes. The challenging mix of lunges, squats, functional training, and tubing exercises will help you burn calories and take your fitness to the next level. LES MILLS TONE has a wide variety of options accommodating all fitness levels ensuring everyone leaves the workout feeling successful.

CS60

This cardio-strength combo class will get your heart pumping and your muscles burning. It starts with a combination of choreographed cardio moves, utilizing the Reebok Coreboard, to increase your heart rate and get you sweating. The class will then transition into a strength and core portion, training a variety of movements patterns and multiple muscle groups.

Fit Kids

Get your child moving and help grow their strength, gross motor skills, and stamina for any activity. Using games, obstacle courses, yoga, and more, we’ve created an engaging way to keep kids active and build healthy habits. Ages 3-5

Boot Camp Junior

Boot Camp Junior is a class designed for kids looking to have fun and stay active. This class works on improving strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and motor skills using bodyweight exercises, obstacle courses, ball games, jump ropes, and more. It is a great way to stay fit and make new friends. The boot camp will challenge kids while also providing positive motivational support. Reap all the benefits of fitness in a fun, non-competitive, and non-intimidating environment. Ages 6-10

Water Classes

H2O Blast

This joint-friendly, chest-deep water workout includes calisthenics style exercises with upper and lower body variations. March, jog, and ski against water resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, and flexibility. Buoyant dumbbells and other buoyancy tools are used to add both resistance and stability in the water.

Arthritis Foundation Aquatics

Keep joints flexible, muscles strong, and help reduce the pain associated with arthritis. This class is also a great routine for anyone who wants to get that good whole-body stretch to help them feel refreshed for the rest of the day!

Aqua Tabata

This class features eight rounds of high-intensity exercises performed in a specific “20 seconds on, 10 seconds off” interval. The water adds resistance to the workout while making Tabata a little safer for people of all ages and fitness levels as it’s easy on the joints. Flexibility may also be increased as water allows for an increased range of motion. The buoyancy of the water also helps reduce the impact that is felt during land-based exercise. Aqua Tabata is an extremely effective way to boost metabolism and weight-loss benefits.

Aqua Zumba

This class blends the Zumba philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss! There is less impact on your joints, so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles. Aqua Zumba is perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine.
