Children ages 11 and up must have a membership with their family to participate in tennis lessons and programs.

For juniors ages 11-18, Elite Sports Clubs offers two different tracks of Junior Group Tennis Lessons among plenty of match play and social events. The Junior Program, which consists of 85% of our juniors, will lead juniors to become good all-around tennis players for life. Our Invitational Program, which consists of 15% of our juniors, will train juniors for top varsity play and give them opportunities for Division I, II, or III collegiate tennis.

How the 11 & Up Tennis Program Works

Improve skills while having fun and meeting new friends! Whether your child is new to tennis or looking to advance, we have a program for them.

Group Lessons

Each Junior group lesson has an instructor to player ratio typically between 4:1 and 6:1. Children may start lessons at any time, the session rate will be adjusted accordingly. Enrollment in Group Lessons is for an entire session. Once enrolled, no credit can be given for lessons missed, however, you may be able to coordinate with a tennis pro for make-up classes. Absolutely no pro-rating of junior group lessons. No refunds. To ensure quality lessons, we reserve the right to move students to appropriate groups. With the exception of 10 & Under Tennis, membership is required for all Elite lessons.

Future Stars: Ages 11-14 (60 to 90-minute lessons)

The Future Stars program is designed to introduce the basics and fundamentals of tennis. Players will learn the correct mechanics of each stroke, proper court positioning, and movement, as well as sound strategies for future growth and development. All basic techniques will be reinforced constantly through coordination exercises, competitive fun games, and singles and doubles play.

Excellence: High School (90-minute lessons)

The Excellence class is a player development program that improves the more advanced player’s technical skills, as well as mental toughness. High-intensity drills that develop speed, coordination, and overall athletic ability will be a part of this program. Strengths, weaknesses, and current stroke arsenal will be analyzed. Singles and doubles point play will be interspersed with individual attention to ensure that the player’s highest potential is reached.

Tournament Squad: Teenagers (90-minute to 2-hour lessons, by pro invitation only)

Tournament Squad is designed for juniors with state, sectional and/or national tournament experience. Students will concentrate on grooming their stokes and working on shot patterns, footwork, movement & on-court conditioning & mental toughness. Students learn advanced techniques and implementation of tactics, strategies and varied game plans.

Tennis pro approval required.

Video Analysis & Feedback

Included in private lessons for no additional fee. We will record a stroke of your choice and analyze it with our computer software. Players will see the motion of their stroke versus that of a professional tennis player. This analysis helps make immediate improvements.

Match Play

Our tennis pros can help with game arranging for your child to get them on the court playing against similarly skilled opponents. This can be through programs like a challenge ladder, or just one-off matches coordinated between players.
