We offer great fitness programs for kids to help them learn about healthy living starting at a young age, improve in their chosen sport, plus teach them appropriate health club and gym etiquette through our Teen Nutrition and Training (TNT) program, Athletic Movement & Performance Training program, or by working one-on-one with a personal trainer. Athletic Movement & Performance Training

The Athletic Movement Performance (AMP) program is dedicated to motivating youth athletes to reach levels that previously were thought unattainable. The program serves the unique needs of each individual athlete and is all about competitiveness within quality work.

Athletes, are you looking for that competitive edge in your sport? Are you looking to:

  • Be Healthier
  • Be Faster
  • Jump Higher
  • Get Stronger
  • Make Varsity
  • Become More Confident
  • Become A Starter

Our first goal in the AMP program is to keep athletes healthy. There will be plenty of competitive, hard work put in—but never at the expense of poor movement quality. This means that our athletes will strive to be the best at their given sport, but not to a point of diminishing returns.

During sessions, we motivate the athletes through positive energy and proper instruction. We stress the importance of balance between their sport, nutrition, and social life; as well as focus on the quality of work at all times.

No matter your child’s sport(s), physical training can not only lead to improved performance but more importantly will help keep them healthy and thriving.

When your child enrolls in AMP we strongly recommend that they get signed up for at least a 6-week commitment. During those 6 weeks, we will first assess your child through sport-specific testing, along with assessing their base movement quality using the Functional Movement Screens.

Athletes in the AMP program will work out in small groups of no more than 4-6 kids to help make sure each child gets proper instruction and correction on the exercises. After each session, we will give each child ‘homework’ to work on away from the workouts—this could include nutrition, stretching, foam rolling, etc.

During the AMP sessions, we will address SAQ (speed, agility, quickness), power and strength (total body) as well as exercises to help keep athletes healthy during their competitive seasons.
