Meet Jason Frausto
- What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?
I am a Master Tennis Professional at Elite Sports Club-Brookfield.
- How long have you been playing tennis?
I’ve been playing tennis since 1991. I started working at Elite in June 2024.
My biggest accomplishment to date has been when I was fortunate to work with two different players that won grand slams. That’s something you remember, that moment.
- What made you want to become a tennis pro?
I’ve always enjoyed teaching and learning. The more you teach the more you learn about improving each individual student.
- What is your favorite part about your job? About tennis in general?
It’s a game, it’s fun, and each time you play it’s always a different experience.
- What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club besides tennis?
I like to hit the gym, play ping pong, and I’d like to play pickleball as well.
- How would you encourage someone who is considering tennis for the first time?
Just go out and try it with a friend or family member.
- What advice do you give people who are just starting out in tennis?
Try to enjoy tennis for whatever motivates you to play it, whether it’s exercise, for fun, or competition. Find your why, and play the game for those reasons.
