Train to Win With High Performance Tennis

Junior tennis players undergoing a drill - Train to Win With High Performance Tennis

For junior players with competitive ambitions, casual practice isn’t enough. Success in tennis tournaments demands more — more precision, more strategy, more mental fortitude. That’s exactly what we deliver through the High Performance Tennis program at Elite Sports Clubs. Designed for juniors who are playing USTA tournaments on a regular basis, this program provides a comprehensive, structured environment to help players reach their peak potential on and off the court.

Who Is This Program For?

The High Performance program is built specifically for junior players who are serious about competition and committed to advancing their tournament play. Whether your teenager is already competing or preparing to ramp up their match schedule, this program is intended for those who want to:

  • Compete in USTA-sanctioned tournaments.
  • Gain more match play experience.
  • Improve their UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) or WTN (World Tennis Number).
  • Develop the physical and mental tools needed for high-level play.

To maintain the integrity of the program and ensure all participants are working at an appropriate level, a UTR rating, WTN number, and/or participation in in-house match play is required for entry.

What Players Will Learn

The pathway to becoming a successful competitive tennis player is multifaceted. Our High Performance coaches train athletes to develop every area of their game, ensuring no stone is left unturned. The curriculum includes:

  • Stroke Development: Fine-tuning fundamental and advanced stroke mechanics for reliability under pressure.
  • Shot Patterns: Understanding when and how to construct points effectively with purpose-driven shot selection.
  • Footwork & Movement: Enhancing agility, balance, and positioning to gain a competitive advantage on every shot.
  • On-Court Conditioning: Building stamina, speed, and strength tailored to the demands of competitive tennis.
  • Mental Toughness: Learning to manage emotions, maintain focus, and stay confident, even when matches get tight.
  • Tactics & Strategies: Implementing advanced match play strategies and adapting game plans based on opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Competitive Mindset: Developing resilience and the mental skills needed to succeed in a tournament environment.
  • Sportsmanship and Teamwork: Learning what it takes to have proper etiquette, respecting your opponents, and the ability to support your tennis partner, all in winning and losing scenarios.

Why It Matters

Tennis is as much a mental game as it is physical. Many players can strike the ball well, but the ones who consistently win matches know how to think strategically, manage nerves, and outlast their opponents in both mind and body. Through the High Performance program, players gain exposure to these high-level concepts early, preparing them not just for junior tournaments but potentially for collegiate tennis and beyond.

The Competitive Edge Starts Here

Our coaches bring years of experience both as players and mentors, fostering a professional training environment while providing personalized feedback to help each athlete grow. Combined with opportunities for regular match play, players in our program stay sharp, competitive, and ready for the next challenge.

If your junior player is ready to take the next step, the High Performance Tennis Program at Elite Sports Clubs is the place to start. Whether the goal is to improve their UTR, win their next USTA tournament, or prepare for college-level competition, this program is the gateway to success.
