- What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?
I’m currently a licensed massage therapist at Elite-Brookfield.
- How long have you been working in the health/fitness/tennis industry and how long have you worked at Elite?
I started working in the industry in 2014 and joined Elite in 2026.
- What made you want to start working in this industry and/or for Elite?
I’ve been wanting to get more into the fitness world of massage for a while. I’ve been on my own fitness journey and working in a gym will help keep pushing me forward.
- What is your favorite part about your job?
I love being able to help people move better and feel better. I also love that each day is never the same.
- What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club that are health/fitness/tennis related?
I have been taking dance workouts, I am active in the theatre scene in Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin, and I enjoy bike riding, swimming, and hiking.
- What has been your biggest personal struggle with health/fitness/tennis?
I would say my biggest personal struggle has been figuring out my food intake. I enjoy a lot of good food and finding balance in what I like and finding healthy options has been an interesting journey.
- What has been your biggest personal accomplishment with health/fitness/tennis?
My biggest accomplishment has been losing 90 lbs since I started my journey.
- What advice do you give people who are coming to the club for the first time?
Make sure to ask questions and to track progress in non-scale ways. Celebrate better energy, improved mood, strength gains, better sleep, more confidence, and less stress. The scale doesn’t measure everything!
- What advice do you give people who are struggling to make health/fitness/tennis a priority or are getting bored/burned out?
Find something that brings you joy to get you started, whether that is a dance class, a fitness class, or yoga.
- What personal advice do you give someone who is looking to get to a healthier point in their life in general?
Make sure to make time for yourself and your mental health. Read that book you’ve had on your TBR list, get a massage, or take a rest day and enjoy the special people in your life.
