Meet Deanna Preston, a massage therapist at Elite Sports Club–Brookfield. Deanna has a passion for showing others that massage is more than a luxury—it’s an essential part of overall well-being. She loves making a positive impact on her clients’ lives and embraces a well-rounded approach to health.

Get to Know Deanna Preston

  1. What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?

I’m currently a massage therapist at Elite-Brookfield.

  1. How long have you been working in the health/fitness/tennis industry and how long have you worked at Elite?

I started working in the industry in 2020 and joined Elite in 2025.

  1. What made you want to start working in this industry and/or for Elite?

I wanted to show people that massage is not a luxury, but that it can be beneficial to your health and well-being. I also wanted to be in an industry that helps push me to a healthier lifestyle.

  1. What is your favorite part about your job?

Hearing my clients tell me how much they appreciate me and to know that I am making a difference in their lives.

  1. What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club that are health/fitness/tennis related?

Group fitness classes, acupuncture, massages, chiropractor, home workouts, roller skating and playing at the park with my daughter.

  1. What has been your biggest personal struggle with health/fitness/tennis?

My biggest personal struggle is not being consistent with my workouts and going on a spiral with bad eating habits.

  1. What has been your biggest personal accomplishment with health/fitness/tennis?

I have been vegetarian for 2 years. When I am consistent with my fitness journey, I do very well on it. Seeing how my family is motivated to want to be apart of it as well.

  1. What advice do you give people who are coming to the club for the first time?

Welcome, there is a lot to explore.

  1. What advice do you give people who are struggling to make health/fitness/tennis a priority or are getting bored/burned out?

It’s ok to start over and don’t do more than you can handle. Take your time and follow your own path.

  1. What personal advice do you give someone who is looking to get to a healthier point in their life in general?

Find what works best for you to become healthier. It’s not a one size fit all. Everyone’s journey is different.
