It's Getting HOT in Here! What is Hot Yoga?

As the weather heats up outside, it’s heating up in our studios too! Today we’d like to talk about one of the many variations of yoga and its unique benefits. In fact, this particular style of yoga has become so popular at our five Elite locations, that we have had to add more classes to our schedule!

Session Benefits

During the Hot Yoga session, the body burns fat more effectively. The cardiovascular system gets a thorough workout, and tissues, muscles, glands, and organs get more oxygen, which aids in the removal of waste. The heat also allows for better movement among ligaments, joints, muscles, and the body’s supporting structures.

Benefits Over Time

Hot Yoga is said to improve metabolism, which aids in weight loss, nervous system function, and flexibility. This kind of exercise helps one develop muscle tone and build the immune system. It helps improve blood circulation and a person’s general well-being, according to the American Chronicle.

Changing Your Body

Not only can Hot Yoga provide immediate and long-lasting health benefits, it can help you change your body. This occurs in weight loss or gain, depending on a person’s needs, the American Chronicle states. It can help a person increase flexibility, strengthen muscles, and relax the mind.
