  1. What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?

I’m currently a Sales & Service Leader at Elite Sports Club-Brookfield.

  1. How long have you been working in the health/fitness/tennis industry and how long have you worked at Elite?

I started working at Elite in January 2026.

  1. What made you want to start working in this industry and/or for Elite?

I have spent over 20 years in business development and project management, and what’s consistently motivated me is building something that lasts; strong client relationships, well-executed projects, and teams that take pride in high standards. This industry appeals to me because it rewards strategic thinking, accountability, and the ability to turn vision into execution, which aligns closely with how I have built my career.

Elite Sports Clubs stands out because of its reputation for disciplined growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. That long-term mindset resonates with me. I am drawn to organizations that prioritize quality and sustained results rather than short-term wins.

  1. What is your favorite part about your job?

My favorite part of my job is turning strategy into results. I enjoy taking complex goals, aligning the right people and resources, and seeing a plan move from concept to execution. For me it is always about building strong relationships along the way whether with clients, partners, or internal teams.

  1. What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club that are health/fitness/tennis related?

I stay active through a mix of strength training and mobility work. I enjoy structured workouts at the club, especially strength and conditioning, and I also prioritize activities that support long-term health like stretching and recovery. Outside of the club, I stay active with regular walking and outdoor activities, which helps me stay consistent and balanced.  I am also looking at getting set up in some tennis lessons.

  1. What has been your biggest personal struggle with health/fitness/tennis?

N/A

  1. What has been your biggest personal accomplishment with health/fitness/tennis?

My biggest personal accomplishment in health and fitness has been my work with Parkinson’s patients at OSF Hospital’s RiverPlex in Peoria, Illinois. Being part of programs that supported individuals living with Parkinson’s showed me firsthand how movement, consistency, and encouragement can directly improve quality of life.

  1. What advice do you give people who are coming to the club for the first time?

I always tell people coming to the club for the first time to start where they are (just be you) and focus on consistency, not perfection. It is normal to feel unsure at first, but progress comes from showing up, asking questions, and building habits over time.

  1. What advice do you give people who are struggling to make health/fitness/tennis a priority or are getting bored/burned out?

Just remind them that consistency beats intensity. Even small, manageable habits add up over time. Mixing up activities, training with others, or focusing on recovery can reignite motivation. Most importantly, give yourself grace, progress is not linear, and taking care of your health should support your life, not drain it.

  1. What personal advice do you give someone who is looking to get to a healthier point in their life in general?

I like to let people know that health looks different for everyone. Progress should be measured by how you feel, your energy, and your quality of life, not just numbers or comparisons.  Always be patient with yourself, stay consistent, and do not be afraid to ask for support along the way.
