Staff Highlight - Yelena Ostrerov

Meet Yelena Ostrerov, a massage therapist at Elite Sports Club–Mequon. Driven by her passion for helping people feel their best, she loves seeing clients leave their sessions feeling relaxed, refreshed, and less stressed. Yelena brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to wellness for every member she works with.

Get to Know Yelena Ostrerov

  1. What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?

I’m currently a massage therapist at Elite-Mequon.

  1. How long have you been working in the health/fitness/tennis industry and how long have you worked at Elite?

I started working in the industry in 2014 and joined Elite in 2025.

  1. What made you want to start working in this industry and/or for Elite?

I’ve always had a passion for helping people and Elite has a a wonderful environment and focus on health and wellness.

  1. What is your favorite part about your job?

Watching people float out of their massage therapy session, leaving less stressed and tense than when they came in.

  1. What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club that are health/fitness/tennis related?

Fitness, yoga, learning pickleball, and want to get back into tennis and swimming.

  1. What has been your biggest personal struggle with health/fitness/tennis?

Consistency when life gets stressful or too busy.

  1. What has been your biggest personal accomplishment with health/fitness/tennis?

I ran two half-marathons, almost went professional with MMA, and started my own Latin dance project.

  1. What advice do you give people who are coming to the club for the first time?

Set small achievable goals, stay consistent, and do not slack on recovery days.

  1. What advice do you give people who are struggling to make health/fitness/tennis a priority or are getting bored/burned out?

Switch it up, even if it’s a quick workout or class you haven’t done before. It could be just the thing you need to shake things up.

  1. What personal advice do you give someone who is looking to get to a healthier point in their life in general?

Start with something soft. Self-care is a huge part of wellness and sometimes a massage or few minutes in the sauna/steam room/hot tub can get you motivated to return for something a little more intense.
