  1. What position(s) do you currently hold at Elite and any you have held in the past?

I am a Tennis Instructor at Elite-Brookfield.

  1. How long have you been playing tennis?

I’ve been playing tennis since 1980. I started working at Elite in October 2024.

Fun Fact: I hit with Michael Chang before he won the 1989 French Open.

  1. What made you want to become a tennis pro?

My overall love of the game. I have followed tennis since I was a kid and played throughout high school and college in California.

  1. What is your favorite part about your job? About tennis in general?

I thoroughly enjoy seeing people introduced to the game and improving over time.

  1. What activities do you participate in at the club or outside of the club besides tennis?

I love golf and skiing!

  1. How would you encourage someone who is considering tennis for the first time?

Don’t be intimidated and just have fun. At the end of the day it’s a pretty simple game.

  1. What advice do you give people who are just starting out in tennis?

Stick with it and just have fun.
