Supporting Your Body Through Change- Nutrition & Exercise in Menopause - Mequon - June 20 2026

This workshop is designed to demystify the metabolic and physical changes that occur during perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause; and to provide women with clear, evidence-based strategies to adapt. As hormonal shifts reshape body composition, energy balance, and recovery, many women find that what once “worked” no longer does. This session bridges that gap with practical guidance rooted in physiology, not trends.

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how their bodies are changing and how to support strength, energy, and long-term health through targeted nutrition, exercise, and, when appropriate, medical therapies.

Topics will include:
• The metabolic and hormonal shifts of perimenopause, menopause and beyond
• Body composition changes and muscle preservation
• Exercise strategies that actually work
• Nutrition for hormonal and metabolic health
• Lifestyle modifications that matter
• Pharmacologic and hormonal therapies and when to use them

Emily Denis Bio
Emily Denis, MD, FACOG, MSCP, DipABLM
Dr. Emily Denis is a double board-certified physician in OB-GYN and Lifestyle Medicine with advanced training in menopause care, sexual health and wellness. Her background in Kinesiology and years spent working as a personal trainer first inspired her
passion for helping women understand and care for their bodies.

After traveling in Southeast Asia and Nepal exploring Eastern philosophies of wellness, Dr. Denis completed medical school in Philadelphia, PA and went on to complete a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Through her experience, she saw how often women felt unheard and unsupported— especially during times of hormonal transition. This realization led her to create Her Wellness Collective, a space dedicated to evidence-based, holistic, and compassionate care where women can find clarity, connection, and confidence in their health.
