The Fourth Trimester & Beyond- Optimizing Your Postpartum Body & Mind - Mequon - May 30 2026

This thoughtfully designed workshop centers on the profound and often under-supported transition through the postpartum period—the “fourth trimester.” It provides a comprehensive, medically grounded yet deeply compassionate exploration of the physical, hormonal, sexual, and emotional changes women experience after childbirth.

The goal is to replace confusion and isolation with clarity, validation, solutions and support. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what is happening in their bodies and minds, why these changes occur, and how to navigate them with evidence-based tools and treatment options.

Topics will include:
• Hormonal shifts and whole-body impacts
• Pelvic floor and physical recovery
• Nutrition and physiologic demands
• Libido, sexual function and intimacy
• Emotional health and identity shifts

Emily Denis Bio
Emily Denis, MD, FACOG, MSCP, DipABLM
Dr. Emily Denis is a double board-certified physician in OB-GYN and Lifestyle Medicine with advanced training in menopause care, sexual health and wellness. Her background in Kinesiology and years spent working as a personal trainer first inspired her
passion for helping women understand and care for their bodies.
After traveling in Southeast Asia and Nepal exploring Eastern philosophies of wellness, Dr. Denis completed medical school in Philadelphia, PA and went on to complete a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Through her experience, she saw how often women felt unheard and unsupported— especially during times of hormonal transition. This realization led her to create Her Wellness Collective, a space dedicated to evidence-based, holistic, and compassionate care where women can find clarity, connection, and confidence in their health.
